Voiceover has been added to all demonstration movies.

This web site is designed to provide instructional support for teachers, pupils and IT technicians to create mediascapes.

The needs of the following people with disabilities have been considered throughout the design:

  • Red-Green colour blindness

  • Short-sightedness (corrected with glasses)

  • Long-sightedness (corrected with bifocal glasses)

  • Severe or total blindness (corrected with a voice browser)

  • Partially or totally deaf

  • Photosensitive epilepsy

  • Motor disabilities requiring the user to operate the computer with keyboard only

    • To ensure this website is as accessible as possible, Futurelab:

  • Set accessibility targets prior to development

  • Measured progress towards those targets during development

  • Continues to monitor accessibility now the site is live.

    • Our approach is in line with the British Standard PAS 78, Guide to Good Practice in Commissioning Accessible Websites.
