Note: This is only relevant if you are using a Bluetooth GPS device. If you are using a GPS device built-in to your PDA or one that is physically attached to the PDA (via the memory card slot for example) you shouldn't encounter any connection problems.

1. What is a bluetooth connection?

The PDA and the GPS unit need to be 'talking' to each other, so your PDA knows where you are in the landscape and the mediascape.

This is called establishing a Bluetooth connection (Bluetooth is the way the devices connect without using cables).

2. Making the devices connect

When the two devices are connected successfully, a blue light will flash on the PDA.

This may take a little time, and a few gos.

If it doesn't work, firstly

1. Turn off the GPS unit

2. Then close the software on your PDA

3. Turn off Bluetooth on your PDA

4. Try it again, by turning on the GPS unit

5. Then turn Bluetooth back on

6. Restart the mscape player on the PDA
