Note: you can open mediascapes in the new mscape maker that were created using the old Mediascape authoring toolkit. They will be converted, after which you won't be able to re-open them in the old toolkit.
1. Find mediascape
If you want to download an example mediascape, go to the Library see step 2 below)
If you want to share someone else's mediascape, make sure the other mediascape has been 'Saved for Web' in the mscape maker software. That file could be emailed to you, and then saved on your PC for instance.
2. Download mediascape
Right-click on the mediascape you want to download from the Library or from the Mscapers website, and select 'Save target as'
Save the file to the desktop on your PC
Note: If you want to share someone else's mediascape, make sure the other mediascape has been 'Saved for Web' in the mscape maker software. You can then save that file on your PC and follow the instructions below.
3. Open the mediascape
Open the mscape maker software and click Open
Browse to the new folder you created and double-click on the mediascape file (this will end in .msz as it will have been saved for the Web, or 'compressed'.)
