With mscape maker open, you should now see an empty project like this:

1. Click 'New'

To start a new project click New or open an existing mediascape file (.msl file)

2. Save your project

Click Save and give a name to your project (in the 'Title' box) - call it any name that you like. You can also add information in the credits, tags and description boxes if you like (you can ignore most of the other information it asks you for here). Now click OK.

The first time you do this it should bring up a window and ask you where you want to put your project.

It's worth having a special folder for saving your projects in. It will contain a subfolder with your content and an .msl file with a little blue and green icon.

The .msl file is the 'script' that has all the information about where your content is, and how you want it all to work.

Tips

Make sure you regularly save your mediascape as you are working on it.
